Female, she was born in May 1961. She is the chief doctor, professor and doctoral surperviser in the acupuncture department of Dongzhimen Hospital affiliated to Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. She began to study traditional Chinese medicine in 1978 and got the bachelor degree. After that she gained the master degree and the master supervisor was the professor LI Fengping. She is also one of the first group of National excellent clinical talents in TCM. The Beijing outstanding teacher, Beijing famous teacher, Beijing high school youth key teacher, etc. honors belongs to her too.

Professor ZHAO has devoted herself to acupuncture in clinic, teaching and scientific research for more than 32 years. She is sophisticated in the combination of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, treating allergic diseases, pain diseases, insomnia, depression, facial paralysis, functional constipation, female urinary incontinence, dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, climacteric syndrome, etc.
