Advanced Acupuncture Workshop for Cosmetic & Dermatological Disorders

OVERVIEW

Over the years, acupuncture has grown in popularity as an alternative method to promote balance and health of body. It’s proven by practice and research to help people a lot from physical to mental health. Cosmetic acupuncture is a branch that employs non-invasive treatments to improve skin and fight the aging process.

Our course focuses on acupuncture cosmetic and dermatological diseases treated by acupuncture taught in English. 

 

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

Providing an introduction of theory and methodology as well as basic training of key practical skills to TCM studies in Acupuncture for Cosmetic and Dermatological Disorders.  

 

TOPICS COVERED:

This 1-day certificate program consists of lectures and workshops:

1. Overview of TCM and introduction 

2. Introduction of dermatological disorders

3. Different techniques of TCM for cosmetic and dermatological disorders

4. Dermatological Diseases:

Acne vulgaris;

Rosacea;

Psoriasis;

Alopecia

5. Cosmetic Techniques: 

 Wrinkles;

 Chin/Eyebow/Eyelid Lifting

 Periobital Dark Circles

 Eye bags

 Lip & Cheek Enlargement

 Face Thinning

   Breast & Buttocks Enlargement/Reduction/Lifting 

   Melasma(hiperpigmentation)

 

The curriculum emphasizes a blend of skill-based practical exercises and peer-to-peer learning in groups.
 

LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the completion of the program, students will be ABLE to:

1. Have a general understanding of whole picture of TCM;

2. Get to know basic theory and methodology of Cosmetic & Dermatological Disorders Acupuncture and use them to understand and analyse the related problems of body.

3. Grasp basic acupuncture techniques to treat dermatological diseases such as lifting, enlargement, reduction, etc

 

WHO SHOULD ENROLL

This program is open for anyone who is interested in Acupuncture for Cosmetic & dermatological disorders. It is equally suited for doctors who would like to build or improve their knowledge and techniques of such acupuncture.

Participants are required to have basic acupuncture knowledge.

CLASS TIME:

Program runs from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; Noon break: 13:00 a.m.-14:00 pm

 

CLASS LOCATION:

Teaching building area, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, No.11 Bei San Huan Dong road, Chaoyang district, Beijing

 

PROGRAM FEE:

¥1,500 RMB (while 1,150 RMB for any students of BUCM)

 

COMPLETION CERTIFICATE:

Students will be granted completion certifications by BUCM after completing all lessons successfully.

He is a licensed Western Medical doctor and later having received his PhD in TCM from BUCM.

He teaches courses of TCM dermatology, TCM gynaecology, cosmetic acupuncture, and many other TCM courses in English at University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain.

  

ACCOMMODATION

Commuting Option

Students who live near campus, or have family or friends with whom they can stay with for the session, may opt to attend the Session as a commuting student.

 

Residential Option

On-campus dorm residences typically have their own lounge, laundry facility, and common area. Student rooms are equipped with window coverings and furnished with an extra-long twin bed, pillow, bed linens, desk and chair, bookcase, dresser, and closet for each resident. In addition, each room has a private telephone and is wired for the Internet. Wi-Fi coverage is also available in residence halls and most     classrooms.

Dorm Fee:

Single Room: 70 RMB/day         Double room:30 RMB/day  

 

How much does it cost?

Living in Da Dong Bei hotel near campus:

Double room:134  RMB/day      Queen's Room: 134 RMB/day 

Triple room: 119.3  RMB/day     

 

Dinning option

We can offer temporary student card for daily meals in the canteen. The cost is less than 20RMB per meal. BUCM meal can meet a wide variety of dietary needs with clean fresh food.

It is also very convenient to have meals around the campus. There are numerous restaurants with specialized Chinese cuisine and fast food restaurants nearby like KFC and McDonald's.

* Note: Successful payment means you have completed registration for this course.  

* Refund and cancellation policy: We are unable to provide refund should an applicant register and fail to attend the program. A full refund will be given should the program be canceled due to insufficient enrollment.
