Teaching:

1988—Present:Teaching TCM medical students both domestic and abroad on Diagnostics of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Diagnostics of Traditional Chinese Medicine (bilingual), Diagnostics of Traditional Chinese Medicine (English), Tongue Picture Research, Basis of Experimental Chinese Medicine, Basis of Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment of Chinese Medicine, Basis of Sub-health, Chinese Materia Medica, Chinese Medical Formulae, Syndrome Differentiation of Chinese Medicine, Ancient Literatures of Diagnostics of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Research Progress on Diagnostics of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Internal Medicine, etc. at classroom and clinic, respectively.

Having been the course leader for national demonstration course of Diagnostics of Traditional Chinese Medicine (bilingual) since 2010

Mentoring:

1995—present: Supervised more than 50 master, Ph.D. and postdoctoral students on experimental and clinical study of Diagnostics of Chinese Medicine, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression and therapeutic effects of Chinese Medicine.

Clinical Activities
1992—present: Having been treated patients regularly at affiliated hospitals and clinics of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Clinical practice focuses primarily on general medicine with special expertise in the following:

Sub-health state

Chronic fatigue syndrome

Depression and anxiety, sleep disorders

Gynecological diseases such as irregular menstruation, dysmenorrheal, amenorrhea, premenstrual syndrome and menopausal syndrome

Research Activities
Major fields focused on
Clinical and experimental studies of standardization of symptoms and syndromes in Traditional Chinese Medicine;

Pathophysiological basis of symptoms and syndromes in Traditional Chinese Medicine;

Pathogenesis and clinical prevention and treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome, sub-health diseases and depression.
