On November 10,2021, the 2021 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Programme, "Chinese Bridge—HRH Princess Sirindhorn Cup" Online Chinese Video Speech Contest for ASEAN Students Studying in China was successfully held.After fierce competition, LEE CHUN HUA, a Malaysian student from our International College, won the second prize, Vietnamese student Li Zhenzhen (PEREZ GERARDINE PASTRANA) won the third prize, and Teacher Zu Jinyue from the Department of International, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan won the Excellent Instructor Award.

With the theme of "Ride on the same boat and work together for the better future —— My Story with China", participants told the stories of China in the post-epidemic era and showed the feelings and thinking of individuals, schools, governments and various industries under the normal state of the epidemic.The event was supported by the Ministry of Education for the Special Fund for Asian Regional Cooperation in 2021, cooperating with the Center of Language for Education and Cooperation,as well as the support from the Royal Thai Embassy in Kunming,the Organizing Committee of China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week and the Foreign Affairs Office of Guizhou Province also provided strong support for the competition.The event is the largest Chinese speech contest for international students after the epidemic. Students from Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and other ASEAN countries participated in the competition, and 20 contestants entered the final stage.After the fierce on-site competition, a total of 3 first prizes, 5 second prizes and 12 third prizes were finally selected.Among them, the speeches of the contestants from our school told their Chinese stories with true feelings, which were highly appreciated by the judges.They said they had gained a lot  from the competition and were very grateful to the organizers and the school for providing this valuable opportunity.

This competition provides a good platform for international students to perform themselves, further promoting the Chinese culture in Chinese, highlighting the charm of  Chinese , and write a new chapter in a community with a shared future for mankind.The competition was live broadcast by the Guizhou Radio and TV Station, and the total number of viewers was more than 100,000 people, which gained wide social influence.Our school has always attached great importance to training the ability  of the international students, and this competition has shown the outstanding proficiency in Chinese and spiritual outlook of the international students in our school.
