Female, M.D., PhD, Chief Physician, Professor, Ph.D. mentor, Deputy Director of Internal Medicine in Dongfang Hospital, Second Clinical Medical College of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM), Director of Teaching college of Internal Medicine.

Since 1988, I have been working in Dongzhimen Hospital, First Clinical Medical College of BUCM and Dong Fang Hospital, Second Clinical Medical College of BUCM for over 30 years, in the department of respiratory pyrexia, involved in clinical work, scientific research and teaching duties. Therefore, I am well-versed in handling and treatment of common, difficult and emergency diseases of the respiratory system. I have in-depth knowledge in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment of respiratory diseases like colds, influenza, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchial asthma, bacteria-resistant pneumonia, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and febrile diseases. In 2000, I worked in TCM-Klinik Kotzting, Germany and visited University of Toronto as a visiting professor in 2002.

For the previous projects, I have received numerous awards on technological achievements at university and provincial level.

My current research focus:

1. Clinical research on TCM methodology on IPF

2. Clinical research on TCM methodology on COPD

3. Clinical research on TCM methodology on respiratory tract infections and the investigation of a TCM formula to nullify antibiotics side effects and help increase overall effectiveness of treatment

I am chief editor for the following books, Clinical medicine for respiratory diseases, Severe acute respiratory disease, Prof Zhou Ping An experience on difficult diseases, Prof Jiang Liang Duo experience on internal medicine formularies. Besides these, I published over 60 scholarly papers and editorial participation in more than 10 literary publications.
